PARTNERSHIP ACTIVATION PROCESS

You will get a Registration email with your CRN ID and Password. Log in using CRN ID and Password from any page on www.net4.in. On first login, you will have to add funds to your Cyber Wallet account as per your chosen grade to activate your account and start buying services.

You will be taken straight to your dashboard.

CUSTOMER CREATION AND MANAGEMENT

HOW TO ADD A NEW CUSTOMER/USER

Select “Add Customers” under the “Customers” button, A pop up form will open, fill up the details and click on the “Register” button. You would have successfully created a customer in your panel.

HOW TO MANAGE EXISTING CUSTOMERS/USERS

Select “Manage Customers” under the “Customers” button and it will show the details of all your customers.

Click on “View/Edit” under profile button to view or make changes for that Customer.

To Unbind a Customer, click on the Unbind button against that customer.
You can check the services under that customer by clicking on the customer name /CRN ID

HOW TO EDIT YOUR PARTNER PROFILE AND CHANGE THE CONTROL PANEL PASSWORD

Click on “Settings” button.

On the Drop Down click on “My Profile”

Edit the profile details and click on “update” button

To change the password of your control panel, mention old Password followed by new Password and click on “Change Password” button.

How to Buy Services

HOW TO PURCHASE A DOMAIN NAME

Select “Domains” from drop down list, under “Buy Services” button, Option-1

Mention the Domain name and click on “Search” button, Option-2

HOW TO SEARCH AND PURCHASE A DOMAIN NAME

Type the desired name in the search box (add additional extensions by checking the box for it) and click on search.

Select the domain or domains you wish to register and click on the “Check out & Pay Now button”.

You will be taken to the Shopping Cart, Where you can select the customer and the duration. Then click on ‘Pay Now’ button.

HOW TO PURCHASE HOSTING

Select “Hosting” from drop down list, under “Buy Services” button.



Select the domain and the customer from drop down list.

Select the platform, Hosting space and duration.

Click on Add button to go to the shopping cart.



Select the customer (in case customer is not selected) and the duration, click on the “Pay Now” button.

You may also purchase Hosting for free from your free wallet, To pay through free wallet, Check free wallet box instead of cyber wallet check box.

HOW TO ALLOCATE HOSTING TO YOUR CUSTOMER FROM A SPLIT PACK

Click on “Split Hostings” under “My Services” on the Dash board.

Click on “Allocate” button to allocate Hosting space to a new domain.

To see details of a Split pack, click on “Allocated”.

When you click on “allocate” Space, under Allocate from Split hosting, mention the domain name and select the customer.

Select the hosting Platform and mention space.

Click on “Allocate” button to confirm.


HOW TO PURCHASE EMAIL FOR YOUR CUSTOMER

Select “Email” from drop down list, under “Buy Services” button”



Select the domain and customer from drop down list.

Select the type of Email Pack you want to purchase, Number of Email-ids and the duration.

Click on Add button to go to the shopping cart.


Select the customer (in case customer is not selected) and the duration, click on the “Pay Now” button.

You may also purchase E-mail for free from your free wallet, you may select free wallet check box instead of cyber wallet check box.


HOW TO ALLOCATE EMAILS FROM A SPLIT PACK

Click on “Split Emails” under “My Services” on the Dash board.



Click on “Allocate” button to allocate email to a new domain.

To see the details of a Split pack, click “Allocated”.



Upon clicking on allocate, under “Allocate from Split Email”, select the domain name and select the customer.

Select the Email Pack and mention the number of Email-ids to be allocated.

Click on Allocate button to confirm.

HOW TO PURCHASE SSL

Go to “Buy Services” button and select “SSL” from drop down List.


Select the SSL, enter the domain name and select the duration

Click on the “Buy Now” button.



It will take you to the shopping cart, select the customer (in case customer is not selected) and the duration,
click on the “ Pay Now” button.

How to Transfer a Domain to Net4

HOW TO TRANSFER-IN A DOMAIN

Select “Domains” from drop down list, under “Buy Services” button.



Click on Transfer to Net4 “+” sign.

Mention the Domain name and Authcode in the respective Columns.

Click on Add button



Click on “Check out & Pay Now” button.

Select the “Customer” and Click on “Pay Now” button.


HOW TO MANAGE DOMAIN TRANSFER-IN

Click on “Domains” under “Services” button.



Click on “Transfer Domain Center”



Follow the Transfer Guide to complete the transfer-in process as per the Domain Transfer status .

HOW TO RECHARGE YOUR CYBER WALLET

Under “My Wallet”, specify the Recharge Amount and select the payment mode.

Click on “Recharge” button.

HOW TO CHECK YOUR CYBER/FREE WALLET TRANSACTION STATEMENT

Click on “Transactions” or “My Wallet” in the wallet section of the dashboard and it will show last one month’s transaction by default.

To check for a specific duration, please choose the ‘from’ and ‘to’ date to get the desired details.

To check the Free Wallet transactions, please select the Free wallet Tab and you can get the transaction details as above.

HOW TO CHECK ORDER STATUS

Click on “My Orders” in “Orders” button tab

It will show all the order codes with small description, status and customer(s)

The default sort is last order first, however, you can sort the list as per your choice by clicking on each column title.

HOW TO CREATE/MANAGE DEFAULT NS/MX/AR PROFILES

NOTE: Default profile helps at the time of new Domain registration as the predefined DNS records will be added to that Domain as per the profile of the customer immediately, without having to change it later.

Click on “Settings” button.

On the Drop Down menu click on Account Settings



You can create up to 5 default domain settings i.e. you can set DNS & MX etc. for that profile.

Mention the NS, MX and A Record for the profile and click on add new profile.

Select the profile for editing or deleting the existing profile.

You can change the profile of the existing users by selecting the user and updating it with new profile and the domains will be activated with the changed profile.

For new registrations you can apply a default at the time of placing an order in the shopping cart.

HOW TO MANAGE SERVICES

After logging in to your control panel, you can manage the services from your dashboard. Click on the Service you want to manage in the service listing summary.

Click “Services” button and select the service you want to manage from the drop down.

Enter the domain name for the domain, hosting, email or SSL you want to manage from the “Manage Services” search bar.


HOW TO CHANGE “A” RECORD [AR]

To point the A Record, If the name servers are with Net4.

Click on “Domains” under My Services.



Click on AR button under Manage section for the domain you wish to change AR for.


Select previous IP address and Delete



Enter new IP address Click on Add button and “Save Changes”.


HOW TO CHANGE NAME SERVERS [NS]

Click on “Domains” under My Services.



Click on NS button under Manage section.



Select previous name servers and delete.



Add new Name Servers

Click on “Save Changes” button.


HOW TO CHANGE MX RECORD [MX]

NOTE: Before changing the MX record, please verify that the Domain name servers (http://www.net4.in/net4app/aspx/domains/searchDomain.aspx#marketingtab) are with us then follow below steps. In case domain name servers are not with us then contact your name server provider to make MX entry:

Click on “Domains” under My Services.



Click on MX button under Manage section.



Add desired MX record and define priority.



Delete unwanted MX record and click on “Save Changes” button.


HOW TO ACTIVATE URL FORWARDING

NOTE: To activate URL forwarding, the domain A Record should be pointed to IP address 202.71.129.225 and name servers should be with Net4

To change A Record, please follow the steps as specified in A Record change process.

In case Domain Name servers are not with Net4, contact domain name server provider to make A Record entry

Click on “Domains” under My Services.



Click on URL button under Manage section.



Enter desired URL and click on Proceed.


HOW TO CHANGE REGISTRANT, ADMIN, BILLING AND TECHNICAL DETAILS [RABT]

Click on “Domains” under My Services.



Click on RABT button under Manage section.



Fill desired RABT details and click on “Save Changes” button.


HOW TO CREATE SUB DOMAIN/ CNAME

Note: Before creating Sub Domain/ CNAME record, please verify that the Domain name servers (http://www.net4.in/net4app/aspx/domains/searchDomain.aspx#marketingtab) are with Net4, then follow below steps. In case domain name servers are not with Net4, contact your name server provider to make Sub Domain/ CNAME entry.

Click on “Domains” under My Services.



Click on Domain Name for which you want to create/ manage Sub domain/Cname



Click on DNS Settings tab.

Click on ADD Sub domain.



Create desired Subdomain/Cname record.


MANAGE HOSTING

HOW TO ADD MULTIPLE FTP USERS

Click on “Hosting” under My Services.

Click on the Domain name you wish to add multiple FTP users for.

Click on “SSL” under Services drop down button or click on “SSL” under My Services.



Click on Configure button.



Click on Upload CSR button, you will get pop-up window and submit your CSR.

HOW TO RENEW THE DOMAIN NAMES

Click on “Domains” under “Services”.

Select the domain name you wish to renew and click on “Renew Now” button.

Click on “Cart” and it will take you to the Shopping Cart.

Select the duration of renewal and click on “Pay Now” button.

HOW TO RENEW THE HOSTING

Click on “Hosting” under “Services” button.

Select the Hosting you wish to renew and click on “Renew” button.

Click on “Cart” and it will take you to the Shopping Cart.

Select the duration of renewal and click on “Pay Now” button.

HOW TO RENEW THE SPLIT HOSTING

Click on “Split Hosting” under “Services” button.

Select the “Split Hosting” pack and click on “Renew” button.

Click on “Cart” and it will take you to the Shopping Cart.

Select the duration of renewal and click on “Pay Now” button.

HOW TO RENEW THE EMAIL

Click on “Email” under “Services” button.

Select the Email you wish to renew and click on “Renew” button.

Open a ticket directly from the dashboard or Click on “Helpdesk” button

Under Report a Problem, mention the Service & the Problem Type. Mention details under description box.

Manage / Check the already created Trouble Ticket status in the “Recently Reported problems”

How to Register as a Partner

Go to www.net4.in and click on ‘For Partners’ Tab.

Click on the ‘Register button’ to become a partner.



Fill up the Registration form and click on the Register button.
